Nasce a Napoli nel 1964, dove vive fino ad otto anni, passando giornate intere ad ascoltare dischi su vecchi impianti e mangiadischi di casa. A sei anni, invece dei soldatini, chiede e riceve una vera batteria in miniatura, che resisterà, però, ben poco alla sua foga.

A quindici anni il suo club preferito sarà il Much More dove si radicherà in lui il gusto per la musica funky. Alcuni dei suoi artisti preferiti del periodo saranno: Vaughan Mason, Skyy, Instant Funk, Kurtis Blow. Nel 1983 assieme al dj Giuseppe Todisco idea un programma radiofonico mixato in diretta (Snippers Team), pescando dal periodo funky-disco, sound ormai in via di trasformazione in dance e pop music. La sua discografia del periodo spazierà dalla deep house stampata su Jack Trax e DJ International alla più ipnotica elettro dance di Detroit stampata su labels come Transmat e KMS, con la quale partecipa ad alcune delle feste “improvvisate” – spesso in casali diroccati – caratteristiche del periodo.
Nel 1992 fonda con Stefano Guerra e Vittorio Cafaro il gruppo The Order, punta di diamante della allora potentissima organizzazione di rave partys ed etichetta discografica Male Productions.

La prima metà degli anni novanta segnano un periodo d’ inattività al livello artistico, ma è proprio da questo momento di ricerca che nel 1997, nasce la collezione di the45dj, circa mille 45 giri rari e selezionati tra i migliori artisti soul, funky e disco, con i quali ha svolto serate in clubs (Saint Louis Music Center, Akab…) ed animato moltissime feste private, oggi, per scelta, le sue occasioni di “lavoro” preferite. Come si è detto, fin dalla prima apparizione della House Music a Roma (Life '85, Devotion Club) - siamo nel 1987 - ha coltivato una conoscenza e sviluppato una discografia che ha come margini precisi il 1985-1990, periodo in cui musicisti di Chicago, Londra, New York, Detroit produssero quella House-Garage di qualità, mai più realizzata. Ed è proprio con questa musica che oggi realizza performance molto apprezzate, fondendola abilmente con la migliore espressione della Disco Orchestrale anni '70, in stile Paradise Garage di New York (1976-1987).
La sua nuova "coreografia" (nei dj set live) è basata sull'utilizzo di un computer portatile (laptop) e uno speciale mixer, in quanto tutta la sua disponibilità musicale è stata interamente trasformata in digitale, proponendo un'affascinante alternativa al classico instruments set dei dj's con i giradischi. In genere il risultato è attraente ed elegante anche sul piano "visivo" e nelle occasioni in cui è stato sperimentato, ha sempre ottenuto una notevole partecipazione, richiamando vasti gruppi di "amanti del genere" e conseguente aumento di notorietà e produttività per i locali.

La sua creatività è anche concentrata sull’editing audio, infatti, utilizzando il software Cool Edit ha realizzando diversi volumi mixati, “Let’s go to the Disco” ed altri due, intitolati “True House”.
